Mark Chambers

Chief Executive Officer

Chambers is a 39-year veteran of the financial services industry, starting his banking career in 1984. He is a graduate of Arizona State University, BS, W.P. Carey School of Business. His career has included senior-level positions in Commercial Banking, Wealth Management and Investment Banking. Chambers previously worked for J.P. Morgan, Chase, Wells Fargo, and Comerica Bank and Montminy & Co., a boutique investment bank based in Santa Monica, California. Chambers holds Series 7, 63, 66 and 79 securities licenses and commercial and personal lines insurance licenses for property, casualty, health and life.

Mark is married with a son and daughter.  He enjoys working out, traveling the world, and volunteering in the community through local organizations.

Chuck Kelly

Chief Operating Officer

Chuck Kelly is COO at Lumenasa Insurance Agency, joining the company in August of 2022.

Chuck has over 32 years of experience in claims, management, leadership, and business operations in the insurance industry including owning and operating a State Farm Agency for 21 years.

Chuck is a graduate of Ball State University where he received his undergraduate degree in business administration while being a member of the football team. Along with his personal/commercial/life & health producer licenses, and completed the Fintech Revolution: Transformative Financial Services and Strategies certification through the Wharton School Executive Program.

Chuck is a proud husband to Bethany and father to Jaclyn.  He loves to travel, golf, work out, and coach high school football. He is also a founding member of local non-profit Real Engagement through Active Philanthropy (REAP).

Debbie Lane

Advisor

Debbie Lane is an insurance advisor at Lumenasa Insurance Agency, joining the company in June of 2022.

Debbie brings with her over 30 years of insurance experience with a focus on sales, customer service, leadership and development.

While relocating to Arizona from New Jersey in 1992, Debbie transitioned from the mortgage industry to insurance.  She holds her personal/commercial/life & health producer license and is currently specializing in personal lines products.   She brings a high level of expertise to her clients and works diligently to help them understand and minimize their risk exposures.

Debbie is a proud mother to her sons Trevor and Tanner.   She is a member of East Valley Women’s League, a non-profit organization focusing on the well-being of women and children in the East Valley.  She enjoys an active lifestyle with daily exercise, anything outdoors, long hikes, golf and camping.

Alberto Valdes

Sr. Commercial Lines Advisor

Alberto Valdes is an Advisor at Lumenasa, joining the company in August of 2022.

Alberto is originally from Cuba, and at the age of 14 he immigrated with is family to the United States. After graduating high school, Alberto started working as an auto glass salesman, offering his services to a lot of different insurance agents across the valley. As his interest for the insurance industry grew, in 2019 Alberto became a licensed property and casualty producer with a local State Farm Insurance Agency.

Being fluent in both English and Spanish, Alberto has been able to help our clients with their commercial and personal line needs.

Alberto likes outdoor activities like camping, fishing, hiking, shooting, baseball, and cookouts. But more than anything for Alberto Family is first. He is a son, brother, husband, and father.  Alberto is an active member of the Glendale Chamber of Commerce and loves volunteering in the community.

Marielys Vega-Nieves

Client Experience Officer

Marielys is a Client Experience Officer at Lumenasa Insurance Agency, joining the company in July of 2022.  She is from Puerto Rico and moved to Arizona with her family at the age of 5.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Marielys obtained her personal and commercial producer licenses and has experience working in captive and independent insurance agencies. Her focus with Lumenasa is the client experience, where her duties include the onboarding process, policy changes/updates, and client retention.  She is also working on completing her degree from Arizona State University.

Marielys loves to work out, travel, and cook but the most important thing to her is family. She is a daughter, sister, and the “fun aunt” to her 2 nephews.  In her spare time, Marielys is passionate about domestic violence prevention and social services impacting her community.

Valeria Fuerte

Business Development Officer

Valeria is from Sonora, Mexico and grew up in Texas.  She is passionate about helping others and meeting new people. It’s important that she represents products she believes in, and she sees the value the Lumenasa Agency  provides to consumers.  Valeria is also a talented professional make up artist, licensed Pilates instructor, and social media influencer.

Valeria is the proud mother to one son.  In her spare time she enjoys fitness activities, exploring good restaurants, and walks or hikes when the weather is good in Arizona!

Glory Cruz

Client Experience Officer

Glory is originally from Puerto Rico and moved to Arizona at the age of 8. She is fluent in both Spanish and English. Glory started her insurance career in 2018 and has had several positions on the corporate side as well as agency.

Glory loves taking pictures, going camping and playing video games, but more than anything she loves spending time with her husband and son.

Originally from Haiti and raised in Chandler, AZ, Emyson joins Lumenasa Insurance as an Advisor. Emyson is a recent Hamilton High School graduate, where he was known for his leadership as a team captain on the football field. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Web Design and Interactive Media from Lindenwood University in St. Louis, where he developed a strong foundation in technology, communications, and professional development. Outside of his professional pursuits, Cody is passionate about coaching lacrosse at Desert Vista High School, where he mentors young athletes and helps shape their skills both on and off the field. Jeffrey Williams

Jeff brings a decade of expertise in the insurance industry, specializing in Life, Auto, Homeowners, and Commercial insurance. His career includes a significant stint as an Agent in Training at State Farm, where he honed his skills for two years. Jeff holds resident and non-resident licenses in Life, Health, Property, Casualty, and Accident insurance, certified in Indiana and Michigan, respectively. He is an honors graduate from GAA Phoenix, where he earned his degree in Operations Management.

He is an alumnus of the University of Jamestown in North Dakota, where he not only pursued his studies but also played on the football team.

Kyle is engaged to his fiancée Lauren, and together they have four children: Nash, Hudson, Adelaide, and Kade. Beyond his professional endeavors, Kyle is passionate about his community, coaching high school football for over twelve years. Derrick McCoy relocated from Cleveland, Ohio to Cottonwood, Arizona in the summer of 1998. He has been living in the Phoenix area for nearly 12 years with his wife of 27 years and their three young adult children.

Licensed in life, health, property, and casualty insurance since 2016, Derrick’s career in insurance honors his father, who served the industry for over 45 years. He has experience as an agency owner with Allstate Insurance and Farmers Insurance.
